FAQs

What is CBD?

Cannabidiol or “CBD” is a significant chemical compound found in the cannabis/hemp plant that is believed to have very wide therapeutic potential. Unlike it’s cousin tetrahydrocannabinol or THC, it does not have psychoactive effects. In fact, it’s quite the opposite! Studies show that CBD will actually counteract the psychoactive effects of THC.

Is it Legal?

CBD is legal, because hemp is legal in the UK. Hemp is a plant that is safe, natural, and non-toxic. It can be used for almost anything. There need not be any grey areas when it comes to CBD. If you want to use CBD products it is totally legal to do so as long as it does not contain more than 0.2% of THC.

Why might I choose to use it?

There are thousands of supplements available on the health food market today. However, Cannabidiol is already standing out as something that is both new and potentially very exciting. In a busy, stressful world, CBD has broad protective properties and it can be taken in a range of formats, including oils, capsules, sprays and more.

Can I take CBD with other medication?

Unfortunately, we are not able to offer any medical advice and suggest that you consult a medical practitioner.

Can I use your products whilst pregnant or breastfeeding?

If you're pregnant or breastfeeding, you should avoid any CBD products. Please speak to your healthcare professional for more information.

What dosage shall I take?

Each person’s endocannabinoid system works and reacts in a unique way, so we suggest you always start off with a small dosage and work your way up.

There are several methods to take CBD, here’s a few of them:

  • Cost effective: Concentrates, crystals, and wax.
  • Fast absorption: Vape juice, wax, and creams.
  • Palate friendly: Oils and crystals.

As of February 2020, the Food Standards Agency recommend that Healthy adults do not take more than 70mg of CBD a day, unless a doctor agrees more.

What are terpenes?

Terpenes are the compounds that give hemp its distinctive aroma and flavour and work alongside the cannabinoids to calm, soothe and relax.

Customers who purchase these are looking to get the most out of their CBD products by enhancing the "entourage effect", a recent finding by scientists in Israel. They are fluid in nature and can be diluted into vapes, drinks, and diffusers or even applied topically onto the temporal bone. Certain terpenes are well suited for relaxation, whereas others are more appropriate for energy stimulation.
