Brand Spotlight: CBDfx

Brand Spotlight: CBDfx

CBDfx is a premier CBD retailer, offering over 50 cannabidiol products ranging from topical creams, tincture, vape additives, and gummies. Their products are always derived from wholly organic hemp plants and extracted the best labs Southern California has to offer. But what else does the brand have to offer?

Innovation

CBDfx is at the forefront of CBD development. They’ve introduced many forward-looking products such as terpene-infused CBD vape pens and even face masks! The company has consistently signaled an awareness of CBD research and market trends.

Delicious Drinks

The company has been creating CBD drinks that not only taste delicious but have 20mg of full-spectrum, organically grown CBD such as their Berry Chill Shot. Berry not your thing? No problem - try the Lemonade Chill a go.

Plus, they also contain 200mg of L-Theanine. L-Theanine - a powerful amino acid found in green or black tea. Like many other herbs, L-Theanine works to improve your body’s natural defense systems.

Softgels

Capsules are perfect for those who want a handy hit of CBD without vaping. Every CBD Softgel Capsule in this bottle of 30 total contains 25 mg of full-spectrum CBD hemp oil. These capsules contain organically-grown CBD in its natural oil form.

Their CBD pills are made with full-spectrum CBD, so (unlike some companies who just use a portion of the cannabis plant), CBDfx soft gel capsules provide all the nutritive compounds that naturally exist within the hemp plant.

Softgels are also infused with natural MCT oil which may provide additional benefits like weight loss promotion and improved energy.

Vape Juice

Last but not least is CBDfx wide range of vape juices. Their juices continue to set the industry benchmark for quality, thanks to their unique flavors and purity.

We’re proud to offer CBDfx’s selection of CBD vape e-liquids that let you vape your daily CBD exactly the way you want.

Each CBD vape juice bottle begins with a carefully grown organic hemp plant in the USA and is rigorously tested by independent labs before it arrives on your doorstep.

Regulated Vaping in the UK

Regulated Vaping in the UK

Vaping has got considerable attention since its introduction to Europe in 2006. Since then vaping has taken the UK by storm. The number of vapers has been increasing rapidly - the World Health Organization believes there were about 7 million in 2011 and in 2018 there was a whopping 41 million.

At around £300 billion, the UK has the second-largest market size for smokeless tobacco and vaping products. While the UK might be far from the US - who have market size worth over £700 billion - we’re still obsessed with vaping and rightly so.

While the long-term effects of vaping can’t be confirmed, the NHS notes a number of helpful uses for vaping. For example, based on the currently available evidence, Public Health England and the Royal College of Physicians estimate vaping is at least 95% less harmful than traditional cigarettes.

But there is a growing belief that vaping is not regulated. We took a closer look.

Is vaping regulated?
With more articles highlighting the potential risk of vaping it can be easy to think the new trend is not regulated. However, the NHS has noted that the UK has one of the most comprehensive systems of regulation for e-cigarette products in the world. Some of the regulation includes;

● Minimum standards of safety and quality
● Detailed notification of ingredients
● Packaging and labeling requirements
● A ban on advertising in print, broadcast, online and other electronic media
● A ban on the sale of e-cigarette products to under-18s and on purchase by adults on behalf of under-18s

Of course, vapes that contain nicotine* have been proven to have negative long and short term effects. But on the whole, the industry is regulated and the product has seen some positive results for people, particularly long-time smokers who have used vaping to quit.

Vaping with CBD
Where CBD got its start - vaping. This classic way of consuming CBD gets the compound into your system quickly, which means the user can absorb more, and at a faster rate, than any other form of CBD consumption, such as oil or edibles. While there is still more to learn about vaping CBD and the long-term effects, it is considered to be much safer than smoking, while being equally effective.

Plenty of research is still to be undertaken on vaping, having strict regulations like we do in the UK will help us move forward with the best possible future for vaping.

*Farm CBD products do not contain nicotine, and as members of the CTA, we source only products that adhere to the highest manufacturing, safety, and labeling standards.
